The 00's issue.

Comunicato redatto da tommygun

Here we are, one step after these 00's years.

A decade that should have changed the world, but that actually didn't change anything.
Often looking at the past, these years didn't produce much new... except its brand new wars, fears and crisis. And also some good music, I gotta add!
In this post you'll find my personal ranking of the years 00's, in rigorous descending order.
I've tried to fit the best, for sure I'm leaving something outside.

The accidental death of Stefano Cucchi

Comunicato redatto da tommygun

I'm writing today because I feel that everyone must know this shameful and terrible story that is happening in Rome, Italy, in 2009.

Few nights ago, on the 15th of October, the private citizen Stefano Cucchi is walking on a park with his dog. He has with him 20 grams of drugs (rumors said weed), and he's with a customer (police said).

Immediately several policemen jump on him, block him, and in few hours Stefano is in jail. Few hours before he has been searched in a police station, his room at home had been searched too, and his mother has been assured that nothing is gonna happen to his son, few hours and he'll be out of jail. They even gave her back his car key.

Sefano is epileptic, and in fact he starts immediately to have some symptoms in jail. They found on him his "life-saving" pill, which police believes to be ectasy (as his sister will say later).

The morning after police decides that the "criminal" needs a speed process, so they give it to him. On the 16th of October, at noun, a man with several broken ribs, an incredibly big face, and many body gazes walks in the tribunal hall. He is Stefano Cucchi.

At 13.30 of the same day he'll hug his father for the last time. He's going back to jail.
Shortly after, at 2PM, Stefano is visited in the tribunal because he's in a terrible state. He can barely walk on his legs. Doctors will find several broken bones, ribs, and gazes. He's sent to jail again.

From now on, the parents will never have the chance to see him again. They are forbidden to see him, talk with him, even to have few news about their son. He's constantly checked by policemen, and his health condition worsen more and more. Parents are kept away with the idiotic excuse that they don not have the permission to let them see Stefano. Everyone is silent, or indifferent, to the tragedy that is happening to a normal Italian family.

When Stefano got in jail his weight was 43kg.

On the 22nd of October police finally contacts Stefano's family: they have to go to the Pertini hospital to confirm the results of the autopsy. Stefano is dead, in jail, they don't say why.

Autopsy certifies several broken bones, ribs, gazes, even his eyes are damaged: they got deep inside the eye socket. Stefano now weights 36kg. He lost 7 kilos in 7 days.

Parents are shocked, destroyed by pain, his son walked in a jail to die in there. His body is completely wrecked, so black that it seems burned. They decide to publish autopsy pictures, because people must know, they can't pretend this is not happening!
Believe me you do not want to see these pictures, they are incredibly strong. But if you want to have a rough idea of the last terrible moments of this poor guy, here's a link. There are others photos on the website, just change the number of the picture in the url.

The official cause of the dead is "natural death". Medics said that his heart stopped to run (as in every death). The official cause of all the body damages is " Stefano Cucchi felt from the stairs". Medics certify this.

Other medics that visited him in jail said they did not see all the damages because Stefano was constantly covering his face with a blanket.

A minister, Ignazio La Russa, said that even if he did not know exactly the facts, he had total faith in the policemen acts.

Stefano Cucchi entered in jail alive. He got out from it dead, his body destroyed, anorexic.

He only met policeman and doctors in the last days of his life.

They said he died because he felt from the stairs.
